Miss Major Griffin-Gracy
Our school is named for Miss Major Griffin-Gracy, a Black transgender elder and activist whose life's work was rooted in care, liberation, and community. At Miss Major Middle, we carry her spirit forward—creating a space where every child is seen fully, held with dignity, and affirmed for who they are.
