Flowers from Major!

Yesterday I was able to zoom with Miss Major. I told her about our school and our hope to name it after her and for her. She said “Wow!” We spoke some more about the school’s mission and vision. From what I could tell, Major was appreciative of this conversation. She wished us well, said she would be there for the ribbon cutting, and then we said goodbye.

The next day we received flowers from Miss Major with this note:

“I am honored that you chose to name your school after me. I hope the application goes through for the charter school. Let me know when it does.”
